They have demonstrated excellence in leadership and shown the ability to succeed despite many of today’s—and tomorrow’s—challenges. They have accomplished this through adaptability and the implementation of initiatives geared towards effective problem solving including a digital transformation and internal reorganization tactics suited to handle the challenges of the past year, and beyond.

Brian Work, Chief Technology Officer of NTG

As CTO, Brian is responsible for the technology development at NTG, helping to position NTG as a top-five freight broker with next-generation technologies. Brian will align advanced digital strategies with business goals to ensure NTG is providing ongoing solutions to the evolving needs of shippers and carriers. Leveraging his extensive development background, Brian will focus on further advancing NTG’s proprietary software, which leads in intuitive user experience, freight brokerage processes, robust network infrastructure and high security for applications and customer and carrier data. Brian has been a board member with United Way of Forsyth County since 2015 and currently serves as Vice President, Community Impact, holding this role twice during his tenure. He is especially passionate about solving mental health challenges, as this is at the core of many issues including substance abuse, poverty and homelessness. Additionally, he recently began work with InspiredU, a local Atlanta organization that helps to provide technology to underprivileged children – which is particularly important now that so many children are participating in remote learning.

He is experienced in all aspects of operations management, sales management, new business development, marketing, strategic planning, leadership and direct sales. Drew enjoys working with his team to both progress their careers and find the best solution to solve a customer’s problem.
