NTG Helps Drivers Get Home for the Holidays

Blog

During the holiday season, everyone deserves to be home with loved ones, no matter where home may be. Holiday shopping beginning in November and running through December – with a spike in online shopping amidst the COVID-19 pandemic – creates a busy peak season, where routes are crowded and drivers are working overtime.

At NTG, we’re ensuring drivers can get home in time for the holidays. Within our Carrier Sales Department, route optimization plays multiple key roles – not only by enhancing routes to reduce empty miles, but also helping to get a driver to his or her preferred destination and in a timely manner, what’s referred to as “due home driving.”

How do we do this? Our internal proprietary technology coupled with the service our Carrier Reps provide to our carriers helps us work hand-in-hand to optimize routes and find shipments that match the preferences of our diverse network of carriers, from shipping dates to home states. We offer real-time tracking and visibility over shipments, so carriers can always have ease of mind – especially during this busy time of year.

We know that carriers want to help their employees get home for the holidays – and NTG serves as a trusted partner to help make that a reality. We are here to make your job, and your life, easier. Learn more about how NTGVision connects carriers to NTG 24/7 here.
