NTG Hosts Annual Rhino 5K Benefiting Children’s Hospital

News

Nolan Transportation Group (NTG), an industry-leading third-party logistics provider, is proud to host its 3rd annual Rhino 5K in Alpharetta, GA.

The 2019 Rhino 5K is a family-friendly run/walk event where employees, family, friends, clients and the community all come together to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Scottish Rite. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the race will go to support the pediatric institution.

“We are so glad we’re able to give back to our community, especially to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Everyone has someone in their lives, a family member or a friend, who has benefited from the medical services that CHOA provides to the Atlanta community,” says Founder and Executive Chairman Kevin Nolan.

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has been an integral part of Atlanta’s community for over 100 years. The Scottish Rite hospital, along with the Children’s Hospitals at Hughes Spalding and Egleston, provide medical services in more than 70 pediatric specialties to over half a million children and teenagers every year.

“We are so thankful for the support that our patients and families at Children’s have received from Nolan Transportation Group and the community that supports this wonderful 5K,” says Senior Director of Foundation and Community Relations Beth Buursema. “Thank you for partnering with us to make kids better today and healthier tomorrow.”

The Rhino 5K was first established in 2017 to raise awareness and provide support to organizations tackling the world’s most challenging issues affecting local, national and international communities. The annual event has raised more than $20,000 to further provide support to foundations positively impacting our communities.
